Frank
has been a performer and educator for over twenty years. Frank has performed with such jazz greats as the late Maynard
Ferguson; Arturo Sandoval, Bill Watrous, Ed Calle, Jon Faddis, Clark Terry, Slide Hampton, Bob Mintzer, the late Nick
Brignola to name a few…
He has performed at such prestigious venues as the Boston
Globe Jazz Festival, the Saratoga Springs Jazz Festival,
the Newport Jazz Festival and Carnegie Hall. His
musical compositions and arrangements have been performed
by the San Francisco Symphony, and Boston Metropolitan
Orchestra, to name a few. Frank is also
the music director and trumpet soloist for the Ryles
Jazz Orchestra (the house big band for Boston’s famed
Ryles Jazz Club). As an educator Frank has taught master classes and
clinics at numerous high schools and colleges throughout
the country. Frank has a passion towards teaching; many
of his students
have gone on to become professional musicians. Frank is
a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music,
Boston, MA. His latest CD is Frankie V “Smooth Ride” produced
by and featuring Grammy Award Winning Trumpeter Arturo
Sandoval. Recently, Frank and his smooth trumpet sounds can be heard opposite Jim Carrey in the movie release "Fun with Dick and Jane", as well as in the previews in theaters and on tv. For more info visit www.FrankieV.com
